So I realized my title is Great Lakes Surfing widow, yet I have not written about surfing at all. Well, that is because there hasn't been surfing here in the past few weeks. Now, that does not mean that I am not a surfing widow. Checking the Surf forecast, Surf forum, calling all the mates at different locales to ask about waves... this happens daily. So even if surfing isn't happening- and sometimes BECAUSE surfing isn't happening... surfing becomes an obsession or the lack of surfing is the obsession. Either way- the mind is surfing.
